HELP SUPPORT FAIRHAVEN HOUSE

Fairhaven House is a 501c3 not for profit organization.

Fairhaven House provides low income housing to individuals who have been addicted to drugs, alcohol, gambling, and other addictions. Our clientele are on a limited income, in fact some individuals only have enough income to cover membership dues and food stamps for their food. Thus they are not able to pay fines, obtain a vehicle, save money to obtain their own apartment, etc. Because of this there are individuals that we are not able to help.

Fairhaven House would like to able to reduce the membership dues for some individuals so that they would be able to participate in our discipleship program instead of having to live in a residence that is not conducive to recovery. However, at this time, we are not able to reduce the membership dues because our main source of income is from the membership dues and they barely cover (at times, don't cover) the lease payments and utilities.

We also need to start making improvements/repairs on the houses. This is not feasible unless we have other income coming in besides the membership dues.

How You Can Help

Scholarships-You can make a tax-deductible donation that would be applied to the membership dues of individuals who have a minimal income.

Appliances-We are in need of, washer, dryer, lawnmower,

Furniture-Bedroom dressers, end tables, like new sofas, portable clothes racks

Small Truck-We could use a small truck or utility van to make dump runs, collect food and other donations.

House Improvements-You can donate materials or labor to help make improvements to the homes.

Provide Meals-Currently individuals provide their own meals. It would be nice to have group dinners at least once a month with all the men together for a time of food and fellowship.
